HipChat is another one of Disposable mail’s workflow integrations – there are still many more to come! Set up your integration with HipChat to add security and vulnerability scanning in your workflow in a straightforward and easy way, and start shipping safer code.

When you connect Disposable mail to your HipChat account you will be able to get notified when a scan has started or finished and/or when a vulnerability has been found. You will receive the notification to the channel of your choice. This makes it easy to keep track of the security level of your site without having to log in to Disposable mail.

Disposable mail introduces permissions rights to Disposable mail teams.

As a team administrator, you are now able to grant users two different kinds of access rights per domain.

View right gives the user the ability to view active settings and read previous reports.

Use rights give the user the ability to run tests, activate domain monitoring, change settings, config integrations and, of course, read reports.

Here’s how you do it:
Expand the Team Members-card in the Team dashboard for an overview of all invited team members. Disposable mail supports gravatars which means that each team member can select their own image. Click on Edit on the user you want to manage.

The Edit Team Member-card gives you the possibility to change the user settings per domain. In the example below you can see that Carl only has View permissions to detectify.io but he has Use permissions to the ngrok domain.

A user can also have Admin permissions; administrators has access to change permissions, payment settings, and can access all domains.

The first step when setting up your Disposable mail account is to define your target and its scope. Disposable mail allows you to configure test profiles to help you make sure that you cover all aspects of your application. As an example, you can have one profile where you log in to the tool and one profile that examines the site as an external, non-logged in, visitor. The tests can also be set up differently to match predefined goals.

There’s a few more things to think about when setting up an account in order to get the most out of Disposable mail.  For instance, to scan your entire domain, you will need to add your target(s) without including “www”. If your domain is “www.example.com” and you want to scan the entire domain and not only the top domain, you should add “example.com”, and by doing so, we will also cover your site’s subdomains. This results in a larger scope and therefore more secure coverage.
